This school has such a wide variety of activities, sports, clubs, and extra curriculum for students after hours or during. Many teachers stayed after hours if students needed extra help or even during school hours help was always available.
I will always recommend kids to go to this school! I attended Scarsdale Schools k The teachers were dedicated, kind, and effective. I was highly prepared for college. School culture is very classist and many students are demanding as they come from wealthy families.
Academically it is an excellent district, the high school had an incredible variety of classes, extracurriculars, etc. The only issue I've had over the years at the high school is due to the schools excellence and how high it ranks compared to the rest of the country. If you are even just an average student above average compared to national averages , its easy to feel way below your peers. Syosset has an environment where it's "cool" to be stressed, staying up late frequently for schoolwork, overloading yourself with hard classes, sports, clubs, etc.
It can be extremely overwhelming at times, and it can make you feel very out of place among your peers, even if you do better than you think. Roslyn Union Free School District has excellent academics and staff.
There are many clubs and activities to become a part of, so everyone has a chance to find where they fit in. They should improve on college readiness. The way they go about the college search and application process is confusing.
They also tend to persuade students to go to certain schools because its where a majority of alumni have attended and the school district has a good reputation with the university. Something other than chicken for lunch. Although, the lunch is not the best at the upper school campus, I still like the facilities and all of what Leman has to offer to people. I also admire the very big diversity we have at our school. We have many boarding students from all over the world and that helps us evolve as a community.
All in all, Leman is a great school, but just needs to re-evaluate their lunch menus. My Experience at Herricks High School was one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life! At first, you may feel nervous on your first day of your freshman year, but you will get used to it and realize that it's actually a lot of fun. I made the most of my experience by taking part in many afterschool activities and participated in events held throughout the year.
Brighton Schools are absolutely wonderful. Teachers and staff are well equipped with the experience and knowledge to teach the students. With supportive staff and faculty, students are able to thrive in their education. Academics are Brighton are rigorous and help students become well rounded individuals. As a school in the suburb within Rochester, Brighton Schools are very diverse. Brighton as a whole community is a welcoming community to all from various backgrounds.

It is amazing and I have grown so much over the past couple years. I have many close friends, and I am able to hang out with them through the awesome clubs and sports programs. The classes I take are definitely preparing me for high school, and I can't wait!! Just right - not too small.
Great mix of families who send all - best and brightest to special needs. Guidance for all students is excellent. Arts, music, sports - real world.
