It was a sharp ending to me, and I would have liked it to be a bit softer. Other than that point, I loved the book and have enjoyed this very quick Novella series. Keep up the good work Ms. If I could give half stars, I would on this. I would give this a 4. Mar 22, Marsha rated it liked it Recommends it for: She has been training with the handsome Felipe and they are becoming close. Most people already believe they are dating but both of them are hesitant to take things to the next level.

Donna is depressed over the loss of her sister as well as accepting the fact that she and Felipe will never be together. She stays away from everyone and her despair shows. Meanwhile Jane has discovered an unexpected friendship with Annie, Father Bellini's assistant and her she secretly admires Jax, one of the team's members. The team is sent on a mission to destroy a vampire nest situated in the midst of a human suburb.

They must take out the vamps without being discovered or calling attention to their mission. For me, the action in this mission felt like more of the same and I am beginning to wonder where exactly is this plot headed. Also, I have to say that I truly hate the way Ms. Warren abruptly ends ead novella. It is almost like she said, "Oh, it's late and I have to go to bed so this is the end of this book. Oh well, after the fourth book I doubt I will be reading any more of these novellas.

It has been a season of series enders for this reader, Bitter Blood is no exception. This book marks the third and final installment in the Blood and Moonlight Trillogy. Together the pair patrol the streets of New Orleans protecting its innocent citizens from threats both human and paranormal.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series from start to finish. In the final series offering Jane and Aidan face threats from within and without. Their romance and their lives in threatened by the malicious machinations of an unknown foe. Together, with assistance of a supportive cast, the pair must solve the mystery before a most violent, bloodthirsty change completely overcomes Aidan.

This series is a tight, action-packed trilogy; a non-stop wild ride from start to finish. I always admire a strong female lead. Jane is determined to do good in the world; loyal, strong, and smart. The romance in this installment is off the charts hot. The plot lends itself to some pretty wild and sexy times. Apr 12, Victoria rated it it was amazing. Editorial Reviews. From the Author. This is the third installment in the Jane novella series. Blood & Tears (Jane #3) - Kindle edition by Samantha Warren. Blood & Tears has 34 ratings and 2 reviews. Stacy said: I read this book right on the heels of book #2, New Blood. This series has been very enjoyable to.

She is inspiring, but not really far-fetched or unrealistic. She is just a perfect main character. He is a great guy, and I love how their connection is so strong because they are brother and sister. No love interest stuff going on, they just would go through fire for each other because duh. It rips my heart out but it is great writing. Makes the battles more realistic as well.

And this makes it that I really thought Merry was going to die!

That she was going to be saved by Leo in a beautiful but sad way. But gosh, how perfect is this ending. This is honestly one of the best series I've ever read. I love these books with all my heart. I could go on and on about these books, but I will save you guys from all that raving.

Merry has to find a way to free her brother Leo from the terrible Ronan. He's taken Leo to another reality and wants to force him to do his bidding and give up his own will.

Merry will do anything she can to free her brother and this also includes magic that's forbidden by her coven. Merry is a powerful witch and the member's of the coven don't always approve of her methods. They don't want her to go after Leo, but for Merry that's simply not an option. She will get her brother back, with or wit Merry has to find a way to free her brother Leo from the terrible Ronan. She will get her brother back, with or without their support, and will do whatever it takes. Merry isn't alone, she has Finn by her side.

Finn is a wizard from a strict and ancient family. Witches and wizard don't usually see eye to eye, can she trust him and will he agree to help Merry with her plan to take Leo from Ronan? What will happen if they succeed? Ronan won't accept losing Leo without a fight. Are they prepared for a battle that will be more dangerous than any battle Merry has ever fought?

When past and present come together it's up to Merry to find a way to save the people she loves, but magic comes at a price, will she be able to pay it? Merry is fierce, strong and smart. She loves with all her heart and would do anything for the people she holds dear. She accepts any challenge if it means she can keep her family safe.

She and Leo have an incredible bond and because of this they can survive anything. It's one of the things I love most about the Witch's Kiss series, this beautiful sibling connection.

I loved reading about Merry and Leo once more and couldn't turn the pages quickly enough to find out if they'd find a way to defeat their enemies or if they'd end up with shattered hearts, being completely broken or worse. Katharine and Elizabeth Corr's vivid, energetic and thorough descriptions are making their stories come to life incredibly well.

I love their world building skills and really enjoy the way they write about magic. There are many mysteries that are slowly being unraveled and their great distribution of suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. The Witch's Blood is filled with unexpected twists and turns, adventure, emotions that are running high and unconditional love.

I just closed this book and I'm not entirely sure where to start my review and what to write down here.

For some reason I'm really sad that this was the last book in the series, that it's really over now and that there isn't another installment to this story. On the other hand I still think that the first book was the best one, with the best storyline, although The last book was interesting and kinda amazing too. Especially the start of the book was really impressive and I loved the sort of al I just closed this book and I'm not entirely sure where to start my review and what to write down here.

Especially the start of the book was really impressive and I loved the sort of alternate dimension that was created and that we've gotten to know some of the amazing characters from the very first book a little better and a little differently. I also think that the finale was pretty good and especially the final ending, although I personally would have dared to go one step further. But that's just dramatic old me. If you're looking for a really deep, complicated and original story, this is not your story. I think overal the magic is not always consistent and the mythology has some weak points.

There are moments when it's hard to follow the fights and what's happening, because that's the downside of books using magic. I also think that the pacing and arc is not always perfect. But, I still enjoyed this series a lot. I've been on the edge of my seat from start to finish, I loved the characters we've got to meet, especially Jack, and in a way I will also miss them a lot. So, my brain and heart do not agree on this series. But when in doubt, always go with your heart, right?
