This book is a quick, but dense read. Lots of information about the history of Guatemala, the economy, health care, etc. What I liked about it is although it's somewhat of a travel book-it doesn't gloss over the reality of racism, imperalism, colonialism, etc. Who's who in literature, music, dance, theater and cinema.
