His body was pressed to mine, and he was so warm that I was surprised steam wasn't rising from that body. The illusion was fading, perhaps simply because I didn't believe in it, revealing the thick black horns erupting from his skull, the flawless, slate-colored skin. He was grasping my other arm, then, before he was pulling both above my head.
I was trapped, utterly at his mercy. Read more Read less.

This film attempts more than it should, but that should be praised. The first three minutes are weak but that changes the moment Andrew Roth comes on the screen. Roth does yeoman's work as Jacob Wilcox and his performance is steady throughout.
Camera Chatham Bartolotta and Shawn Shelpman are scene stealers but both have moments that are uneven. Emily Cordes in the starring role is amazing at times, but has weak moments. Her odd body movements are nonverbal clues to the demonic influences effecting her. Cody Knotts shows the problems of directing and acting. His performance is one note, crying.
Ray Wade is understated and yet very realistic. Doug Bradley does yeoman's work as a voice over and provides some needed star power. The visuals are better than expected for a film with so low a budget. The film makers were obviously attempting to make a serious film. If you watch it, just hang on through the opening minutes.
Pay attention to the story and you will be rewarded. It has a strong message of Christian redemption, though the characters are suffering in non-christian ways. Some non nude sexually suggestive scenes are shown and harsh language.
A 'horrorible' subgenre offering. I forged through to the end, largely because Doug Bradley appeared in the credits. Sadly, his contribution was a voice on a phone. This isn't done in that style at all.
The acting ranges from fair to poor, the visuals are not basement level but not even remotely inspiring. There's 1 visual that would qualify as a horror visual, and that comes at the very end. There's a lot of sex happening, or trying to happen, obviously, given the succubus but the way that those scenes are shot isn't likely to be offensive except to the most prudish sensibilities. The only strength that I found, and which kept me plugging through when it became obvious that Doug Bradley was not going to show up except in a nanosecond long cameo, was the attention to the story.
I'm discovering that this 'story' focus is one variable that allows me to finish these types of flicks. There is a coherent narrative and the focus is on getting through it. As opposed to one variant of these that I immediately turn off, where there is an idea vs.
A film needs a good story but it needs something more, as its a primarily visual medium. Luckily, I watched most of it while I was sick, so I didn't really care too much.
It'd be hard for me not to give a movie about Lucifer a chance anyway. Okay, so don't get me wrong, this movie is horrible.
That said, I got some perverse pleasure out of seeing how bad it really was. I mean, I think if you handed me a good quality video camera and gave me a month to throw something together, this is probably the kind of crap I would come up with.
I have never seen you before. Transformation Salem Aslin is a warlock, a master of shadowy arts, and his particular line of work has put him in the path of incredibly dark forces. I'd like to think that I could do better, but that would probably require a budget for some music, some actors this film only had one, the male lead , and at least 6 weeks. Terrible movie - Don't waste your time. The only reason I watched is because it was filmed nearby and our State Senator has a main role and 1 spicy scene. I learned about this movie when I found an internet article about it long before it was released. The article described it as being a "Christian horror movie" with strong sexual themes.
Indeed, the content is surprisingly intense for something that was described as "Christian. The "f-bomb" is dropped over times. He discovers a young woman possessed by a succubus, a demon that uses sex to control people. Those around the possessed woman are in danger of being picked off one by one, and the exorcist must unravel the mystery before more are killed. The movie's message of hope and redemption is quite strong, although not all characters will have a happy ending.
A couple will die in rather bloody ways, although this is not exceptionally gruesome.
