That is not the case. The Kingdom is already here, its already at hand, it has already turned up in the faith and love that God has placed in the hearts of those who believe. As we simply, humbly, live out from that faith and love inside us the manifestation of the Kingdom arrives. The perfect is both "out there" and "in here". The perfect is in the throne room of heaven and in the hearts of Christians.
The pure in heart will see God. And if we abide in Him, then He abides in us, makes His home in is, and dwells with us. And surely that is the Kingdom of Heaven, to be where God is dwelling. And He dwells in believers. There is something absolutely perfect deep down in every Christian, that perfection is Christ in you the hope of glory. Your heart is the base camp for the Kingdom of God and from that base camp the Kingdom can come in power and the gospel can be preached to all creation.
Thus Christianity is an inside out faith. Christianity proceeds out to the world from the inside of the saint, from Christ in them, from the treasure in earthen vessels. In our flesh dwells no good thing but in our heart dwells Christ. You are not a useless wretch having to live up to high and holy laws written on tablets of stone by an unyielding God. We have the answers the world is seeking. The kingdom believers shall be a force of righteous conviction in the world. They shall walk in a new understanding of the plans of their God in this day.
This new understanding shall bring the most powerful force of compassion and love ever seen into the world of men. If the truth be known, one age is coming to an end in fiery judgment and a new one is being established in its place. Let us not give in to the fear and terror of these times but rather rest secure in the knowledge that a new kingdom is coming.
So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. Further, even on that very day he could not be in paradise with Jesus since Jesus was dead in the grave for three days.
Few Questions I have. What happens to someone who dies now whether they are saved or not? What happens to someone who dies during the millennium reign? Where do they wait? When anyone dies, both now and in the Millennial Kingdom, they are dead. They completely cease to exist.
We have a number of articles on this topic. Here is a good link: Hello Dan, I am studying the bible with Jehovah Witness, they teach we all have a second chance except those that God judges to be wicked.
I am still learning what are your views on this, since I have many family members who are atheist, Buddhist and have other beliefs but are in general good people. I like to believe in a loving God who will send his son to teach us the whole truth without the corrupted religions of today. I want to believe Jesus will be the only perfect teacher, and hope we all will have a second chance during the Millenial Kingdom: To the contrary, God does say that people die once, then face judgment.
This was my question——-.
Is it because we understand what sin did to mankind first time around? And those saved during the tribulation will live outside in the world? Well, When the thousand year reign of Christ is over, and Satan is released for a short time, many people, more than can be counted join him and rebel against God. But I get the impression from revelation that there is no sin during the thousand year reign of Christ I hope you can answer these questions respectfully in Christ Jim and Green.
Hi Jim, The first category listed includes all Christians, both those who have died since Pentecost and those who are alive during the rapture. That will be replaced by a perfect body and mind. At the end of the 1, years Satan will be let loose one last time and he will lead many into rebellion against the King. When people die it seems the Bible says we go be with the Lord if we have been saved. We are not just dead, but still existing with a body not made with hands. The BIble clearly tells us what happens when we die, we are dead. It is clear that there is a rebellion at the end of the thousand year reign.
How can it be that there is a third group which was neutral even during the mark of the beast challenge and not saved to eternal life but simply spared? Does this tie in with the second chance teaching? Those are good observations and it can be confusing. It is my understanding that some mortals will enter Christs 1, year kingdom and, as mortals, they will have the ability to procreate.
At the end of the 1, years Satan is released from prison and he leads people into rebellion against Christ and the righteous. Who is it that he leads astray? Possibly people from the millions, maybe even billions, of mortal people who have repopulated the earth. THe righteous saints that are ressurected and raptured are not in the mortal class since we have received everlasting life and cannot die again. At the end Satan is destroyed and so are the unrighteous and then the eternal kingdom with the new Jerusalem the Apostle John describes descends and the eternal Kingdom begins.
THe one where we dwell with Yahweh and Jesus, wher ehere is no need for sun, etc.
Hi , Can you please tell me if all that were raptured will be returning and than staying in the Millennial Kingdom? Or will there be some left in heaven and others brought to reign with Jesus? Paul is clearly talking about the dead in Christ rising as a ressurection the dead coming to live and the extra part that was unknown, or at least not written about, was how the living would be changed too. All who go to heaven with Jesus return with him and are a part of the armies of heaven.
Wow, I was greatly edified by this article and it answered a lot of questions I had often puzzled over concerning the Millennium. Thank you for posting this.
It contains eight chapters on the various aspects of the kingdom in relation to the believers and two chapters on the appearance and the manifestation of the. What is the kingdom in its reality? I have had opportunity to share this article two maybe 3 times with people on FB. I sent it privately to one friend who posted it on FB and the response was strong. People responded with a belief that this makes much more sense than the heaven and hell concepts promoted in Christendom today especially when it is pointed out that many of our traditions are firmly based in paganism. Thank you for providing this information.
Lastly, the comments section and your replies have been thought provoking and interesting. Strongly recommend everyone who has taken an interest in this article to read: The Anchor of the Soul. I am on my third reading and can truly say it is sobering and enlightening and dispels much of the cloudiness found in Christendom today regarding the future.
